Wow, als ich sah, dass heute diese wunderschöne Livery nach Basel kommt, musste ich einfach an den Flughafen fahren. Was für ein wunderschönes Flugzeug.
Zum Glück hatte ich auch das Privileg und konnte 3, 4 Stunden am Flughafen sein. So sah ich die SunExpress landen und auch wieder starten. Das Schöne ist, dass man bei einem Start das Flugzeug beim taxiway in Ruhe fotografieren kann.

SunExpress ist eine deutsch-türkische Fluggesellschaft, gegründet 1989 als Joint Venture von Lufthansa und Turkish Airlines. Sie verbindet zahlreiche Ziele in Europa mit der Türkei.
Besonders auffällig ist eine Speziallackierung, die Istanbul als kulturelle Metropole würdigt: farbenfrohe Motive wie die Bosporus-Brücke, historische Moscheen und moderne Skyline zieren den Rumpf. Diese Sonderbemalung symbolisiert die Verbindung von Tradition und Moderne, die SunExpress stolz repräsentiert. Diese Lackierung wurde anlässlich des 20-jährigen Firmenjubiläums und Istanbuls Status als Europäische Kulturhauptstadt 2010 eingeführt. Der lackierte Flieger kam ab 27. Februar 2010 zum Einsatz.

Wow, when I saw that this beautiful livery was coming to Basel today, I just had to go to the airport. What a beautiful aircraft.
Luckily, I had the privilege of being able to spend three or four hours at the airport. I saw the SunExpress plane land and take off again. The nice thing is that you can take photos of the plane in peace at the taxiway during takeoff.
