Dieses Flugzeug hat mich von Beginn an fasziniert: Im April 2025 durften wir die neue A350 von SWISS bereits in Toulouse im Werk sehen. Damals war sie noch „nackt“. Nur anhand des Swiss Logos am Heck wusste man: DAS ist sie.
Am 9.10.2025 kam sie dann endlich nach Zürich. Deshalb war ich natürlich auch an diesem Ereignis mit dabei und durfte sie willkommen heissen! Die Feuerwehrtaufe konnte ich so auch endlich zum 1. Mal live sehen!
Ich wurde dann riesig überrascht und von meinen Eltern nach Mallorca in die Ferien eingeladen – natürlich mit dem Flugzeug der Swiss, Wanderlust HB-IFA A350! WOW. Nach so vielen Jahren sass ich tatsächlich mal wieder in einem Flugzeug. Es war fantastisch! Ich konnte mein Glück kaum fassen. Natürlich dufte ein Einkauf der Sprüngli/SWISS Schokolade nicht fehlen. Und dank einer sehr netten Flugbegleiterin hatte ich noch das grosse Glück und durften den Piloten kurz „hallo“ sagen. Ein Autogramm bekam ich dann noch auf meinen Hoodie.
Natürlich wollte ich mich dementsprechend kleiden und hab mir kurzerhand einen Hoodie selbst gemacht. Meine Tochter Yael hat die Sujets der Maschine abgezeichnet und ich habe sie dann auf einen passenden rot/weissen Hoodie gepresst…
Der Flug, die Ferien, die Auszeit und das Flugzeug: einfach wow! So wow, dass ich mir spontan in Palma ein Tattoo stechen lassen habe. (Insta) @line.nashtattoos hat das ganz spontan möglich gemacht! Ich bin unglaublich happy! Danke an alle Beteiligten.
Und im November gingen wir dann noch an eine Aviatik Börse: Dort hatte ich das grosse Glück und ergatterte einen Erstflugbeleg der Maschine. Jedoch kenne ich mich damit kaum aus, aber ich hatte eine grosse Freude.

Tattoo Swiss Airbus A350 HB-IFA 09/25
This aircraft fascinated me from the very beginning. In April 2025, I was able to see the new SWISS A350 at the factory in Toulouse. At that time, it was still completely “naked”. Only the Swiss logo on the tail revealed its identity.
On October 9, 2025, the aircraft finally arrived in Zurich. Of course, I was there to welcome it and to experience the traditional firefighter christening live for the very first time.
Shortly afterwards, my parents surprised me with a trip to Mallorca. Naturally, the journey was on a SWISS aircraft – the Wanderlust A350 HB-IFA. After many years, I was finally flying again, and the experience felt almost unreal. Being back on an airplane was simply fantastic, and my excitement was impossible to hide. Buying Sprüngli and SWISS chocolate was, of course, mandatory. Thanks to a very kind flight attendant, I was even allowed to say a quick hello to the pilot, who kindly signed my hoodie.
Wanting to match the moment, I created a special hoodie for the trip. My daughter Yael carefully traced the aircraft’s design, and I printed it onto a red-and-white hoodie inspired by SWISS colours.
The flight, the holiday, the break from everyday life and, above all, this aircraft made the entire experience unforgettable. It was so special that I made a spontaneous decision while in Palma: I got a tattoo to remember it forever. Thanks to @line.nashtattoos on Instagram, it was possible on very short notice. I am incredibly happy and grateful to everyone who helped make this journey, and this moment, so memorable.
