Die Orange2fly Airbus A320-232 haben wir hier in Basel am Flughafen das erste mal gesehen. Die Flotte hat eine schöne Lackierung. Diese stimmungsvolle Himmel machen die Fotos sehr mystisch. Auch dass die Landung im Regen war, gefällt mir sehr gut. Die Effekte sind auf jedem Foto anders.

Die Fluggesellschaft Orange2fly wurde im September 2015 von ehemaligen Mitarbeitern von SkyGreece Airlines gegründet und nahm den Flugbetrieb am 12. September 2016 auf. Ihre Ziele: europäische Länder wie Deutschland, Spanien, Österreich, Frankreich, Belgien, Griechenland, Zypern und Ländern aus Nordafrika abgeschlossen.
Orange2Fly vermietete einige ihrer Flugzeuge in den Sommermonaten an andere Gesellschaften, darunter Corendon Airlines, TUI Airlines Belgium, Smartwings und Aigle Azur.
Aufgrund der Covid-19-Pandemie und den daraus resultierenden Auftragsverlusten musste Orange2Fly drei ihrer vier Airbus A320-200 im Juni 2020 an die Leasinggeber zurückgeben. Im Sommer 2021 wurde auch das letzte verbliebene Flugzeug zurückgegeben. Am 21. September 2022 wurde der Betrieb endgültig eingestellt.

We saw the Orange2fly Airbus 320-232 for the first time here at the airport in Basel. The fleet has a beautiful livery. The atmospheric sky makes the photos very mystical. I also really like the fact that the landing was in the rain. The effects are different in every photo.

Orange2fly was founded in September 2015 by former employees of SkyGreece Airlines and began operations on September 12, 2016. Its destinations include European countries such as Germany, Spain, Austria, France, Belgium, Greece, Cyprus, and North Africa.
Orange2Fly leased some of its aircraft to other airlines during the summer months, including Corendon Airlines, TUI Airlines Belgium, Smartwings, and Aigle Azur.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting loss of orders, Orange2Fly was forced to return three of its four Airbus A320-200s to the lessors in June 2020. The last remaining aircraft was also returned in the summer of 2021. Operations were finally discontinued on September 21, 2022.
