Diese Edelweiss A340 haben wir bei der Busrundfahrt in Zürich gesehen. Die Rundfahrt war sehr interessant und man kam den Flugzeugen sehr nahe.
Diese Aufnahme entstand aus dem Bus heraus, als wir das Flugzeug „kreuzten“. Ein wundervolles Foto mit all den Akzenten.

Hier möchte ich in bisschen Werbung für den Flughafen Zürich machen. Man kann dort diverse Führungen buchen. Sie veranstalten auch immer Sonderausstellungen oder organsisieren Clowns. Allgemeines: Die Lage ist in Kloten, rund 13 km nördlich vom Stadtzentrum Zürich. Der Flughafen wurde 1948 eröffnet und in Betrieb genommen.
Die Runways sind wie folgt:
16/34: 3.700 m | 14/32: 3.300 m 10/28: 2.500 m
Es gibt 3 Terminals: A, B, E – Dock E ist das Satellitenterminal. Unter dem Airport verläuft direkt ein Bahnhof, welcher dich mit allen grossen Städte der Schweiz verbindet.
Es ist die Heimatbasis der SWISS International Air Lines.
Im 2023 wurden 28.9 Millionen Passiere transportiert. Es gab über 228’000 Flugbewegungen und rund 430’000 Fracht wurden in die Welt geflogen.
Der Flughafen wurde mehrfach als bester Flughafen Europas ausgezeichnet. Er ist va. bekannt für Pünktlichkeit, Sauberkeit, gute Umsteigezeiten und die Bahnverbindung.

We saw this Edelweiss A340 on the bus tour in Zurich. The tour was very interesting, and we got very close to the aircraft.
