Heute kam die Condor mit der „Breast Cancer Awareness Livery“ nach Basel – zum ersten Mal. Da musste ich natürlich nach Basel fahren. Meine Tochter war ein wenig sauer, da sie ein totaler Condor Fan ist und schon lange auf die D-AICS wartet. Genauer gesagt seit Oktober 2024. Ja, seither beobachten wir die Breast Cancer Livery täglich und endlich besuchte sie „uns“.
Ich muss schon sagen, die Maschine sieht echt toll aus und ist sehr auffällig in ihrem Pink.

Der Airbus A320 D-AICS von Condor trägt die auffällige „FlyPink“-Sonderlackierung, die im Oktober für Brustkrebsprävention und -aufklärung sensibilisieren soll. Mit den pink-weißen Streifen möchte Condor ein deutlich sichtbares Zeichen für Vorsorge und Solidarität setzen und gleichzeitig Spendenaktionen unterstützen.
Auch im Innenraum wurde das Thema umgesetzt. Die Kopfstützenbezüge sind in Rosa gestaltet, spezielle Sicherheitskarten informieren zusätzlich über Brustkrebsfrüherkennung. Die Crew trägt pinke Accessoires, um die Botschaft an Bord präsent zu halten. Damit ist D-AICS nicht nur ein Verkehrsflugzeug, sondern auch ein fliegendes Symbol für gesellschaftliches Engagement und Bewusstsein.
