Vom heutigen Training in Langenthal-Bleienbach habe ich von einer Freundin erfahren. Ok, auf der Homepage der Patrouille Suisse ist es ebenfalls publiziert. Aber das ging bei mir irgendwie verloren. Daher war ich Kim sehr dankbar.
Ich muss ehrlich sagen, dass ich sehr erschrocken bin, als ich die vielen Autos gesehen habe. Unglaublich wie viele Leute dieses Training angezogen hat. Es war top organisiert. Auch beim Flughafen vorne. Und doch entschied ich mich, ein bisschen abseits zu gehen um es alleine richtig geniessen zu können. Das war eine gute Entscheidung. Denn ich konnte bis zur Start-/Landebahn gehen und die Tiger düsten direkt über mich drüber. Es war ein unglaublich geniales Gefühl. Ausserdem war nirgends irgendwas im Wege, was die Sicht beeinträchtigt hat.
Alles in allem ein wunderbarer Nachmittag. Es hat mir grosse Freude gemacht und die Piloten Nils Hämmerli, Gunnar Jansen, Claudius Meier, David Pereira, Martin Schär und Lukas Nannini haben mal wieder ihr Bestes gegeben.

Die Patrouille Suisse ist das Kunstflugteam der Schweizer Luftwaffe. Seit 1964 begeistert sie mit präzisen Formationen, fliegt F-5E Tiger II und repräsentiert die Schweiz im In- und Ausland.
Das Kunstflugteam besteht aus erfahrenen Militärpiloten der Schweizer Luftwaffe, die im Kunstflug mit sechs F-5E Tiger II ihr Können zeigen. Jeder Pilot übernimmt eine feste Position, vom Formationsleader bis zu den Solisten. Unterstützt wird das Team durch Reservepiloten und Sprecher. Präzision, Teamgeist und jahrelanges Training machen die Formation weltweit zu einem Aushängeschild der Schweiz.

I heard about today’s training in Langenthal-Bleienbach from a friend. Okay, it’s also published on the Patrouille Suisse website. But I somehow lost track of that. So I was very grateful to Kim.
I have to honestly say I was quite shocked when I saw all the cars. It’s incredible how many people this training attracted. It was superbly organized. Even at the airport. And yet I decided to go a little further away so I could really enjoy it on my own. That was a good decision. I was able to walk all the way to the runway, and the Tigers were zipping right over me. It was an incredibly amazing feeling. And there was nothing obstructing my view.
All in all, a wonderful afternoon. I had a great time, and the pilots Nils Hämmerli, Gunnar Jansen, Claudius Meier, David Pereira, Martin Schär, and Lukas Nannini once again gave their all.

The Patrouille Suisse is the Swiss Air Force’s aerobatic team. Since 1964, it has thrilled audiences with precise formations, flying F-5E Tiger IIs and representing Switzerland at home and abroad.
The aerobatic team consists of experienced military pilots of the Swiss Air Force who demonstrate their skills in aerobatics with six F-5E Tiger IIs. Each pilot assumes a fixed position, from formation leader to soloists. The team is supported by reserve pilots and spokespeople. Precision, team spirit, and years of training make the formation a global flagship for Switzerland.
