Am heutigen Tag war am Militärflughafen in Emmen die Diplom Übergabe an alle PC Piloten. Zur Feier des Tages zeigte die Patrouille Suisse eine halbstündige Show. Es war fantastisch. Mir hat es unglaublich gut gefallen. Viele Fotos oder stundenlanges Videomaterial habe ich nicht gemacht. Denn heute wollte ich es auch einfach mal geniessen – und es tat unglaublich gut.
Heute sah ich die Jets am Boden und konnte so auch die Piloten fotografieren. Ich fand es sehr schön, dass alle uns Zuschauern zugewinkt haben. So konnte man tolle Fotos machen.
Die Piloten sind: Capt S. Wetli, Maj L. Nannini, Maj D. Pereira, Capt D. Moser, Maj M. Schär, Capt M. Mattle.
Übrigens, der Super Puma flog auch eine kurze Show. Gigantisch zu was dieser Helikopter fähig ist. Hier gehts zum Video.

Die Patrouille Suisse ist kein Berufsteam, sondern wird milizmässig betrieben – die Piloten fliegen im normalen Luftwaffendienst und trainieren zusätzlich für die Shows. Die Flüge finden bei Airshows, Nationalfeiern, Jubiläen und besonderen Zeremonien (z. B. Brevetierungen) statt. Die F‑5E Tiger II Jets der Patrouille Suisse sind spezialmodifiziert, u. a. mit Rauchgeneratoren.
Sie wurde 1964, zum 50-jährigen Jubiläum der Schweizer Luftwaffe, gegründet.

Today, the diploma ceremony for all PC pilots took place at the Emmen military airfield. To celebrate, the Patrouille Suisse performed a half-hour show. It was fantastic. I really enjoyed it. I didn’t take many photos or record hours of video footage. Today, I just wanted to enjoy myself – and it felt incredibly good.
Today I saw the jets on the ground and was able to photograph the pilots. I thought it was great that everyone waved to us spectators. It made for some great photos.
The pilots are: Capt. S. Wetli, Maj. L. Nannini, Maj. D. Pereira, Capt. D. Moser, Maj. M. Schär, and Capt. M. Mattle.
By the way, the Super Puma also flew a short show. It’s amazing what this helicopter is capable of.

The Patrouille Suisse is not a professional team, but rather a militia-like unit – the pilots fly on regular air force duty and also train for shows. Flights take place at air shows, national celebrations, anniversaries, and special ceremonies (e.g., certifications). The Patrouille Suisse’s F-5E Tiger II jets are specially modified, including smoke generators.
It was founded in 1964, on the 50th anniversary of the Swiss Air Force.
