Wegen der Military World Winter Games war auch diese Air Force in Zürich. Diese kam für die Spanische Regierung. Und ja ich muss zugeben, es war eine richtig geniale und grosse Maschine. Da stockte einem schon der Atem, wenn die angeflogen kommt. Man hat das Gefühl, sie bleibt in der Luft stehen.
Ja wir waren alle sehr begeistert. Denn auch der Ton, den diese Maschine von sich gab, war Gänsehaut pur.

Die Airbus A400M Atlas ist ein moderner, viermotoriger Militärtransporter für strategische und taktische Einsätze. Sie kombiniert große Reichweite mit hoher Nutzlastkapazität, kann auf kurzen oder unbefestigten Pisten landen und unterstützt Truppen- sowie Materialtransporte, Luftbetankung und humanitäre Hilfseinsätze weltweit zuverlässig und flexibel.
Die Maschine erreicht eine maximale Geschwindigkeit von rund 780 km/h und fliegt in Höhen bis 12.200 m. Sie ist etwa 45,1 m lang, besitzt eine Spannweite von 42,4 m und bietet dank großer Frachtkapazität vielseitige Einsatzmöglichkeiten in militärischen und humanitären Missionen.

This air force was also in Zurich for the Military World Winter Games. They were there for the Spanish government. And yes, I have to admit, it was a truly amazing and large aircraft. It took your breath away when it flew over. It felt like it was hovering in mid-air.
Yes, we were all very impressed. The sound this aircraft made was pure goosebumps.
